Hello! I’m Sara
I first learned how to bake apple pies with my mother Rose in Norwich, CT when I was 6 years old. I just always loved to be around food! So naturally my first job was in a restaurant, first in the front of the house as a server, then moving on to the kitchen before I decided to begin training at Connecticut Culinary Institute in Hartford. Upon completing the Advanced Culinary Arts Program I staged in Italy for 5 months. During this stage I worked at three different restaurants in Northern Italy; Agrodulce in Imperia, La Contea in Alba, and Maragasc in Legnano. I came back to Connecticut to cook at Grant’s in West Hartford, Gourmet Galley Catering in Waterford, and Ballo in Mohegan Sun Casino, among other places. I’ve worked in catering, country clubs, and bars, but after taking on several private parties, I realized my true passion as a personal chef. I moved to Boston in May 2013 to pursue this full-time career. I have cooked for week-long retreats, private dinner parties for 2-42 guests, and given cooking lessons to individuals in their homes. My style can be described as Northern Italian with Vegan and Raw Food influences, and I still love to bake. In fact I’ll even bring the dessert for your next gathering.
